Integrated Pest Management

Years ago, food safety initiatives motivated the food industry to adopt a way to control pests using minimal pesticides. This method focuses on eliminating the conditions which allow for insects and rodents by cleaning or modifying the environment, or by excluding them from access. This method is called Integrated Pest Management and is now widely used. Technicians can no longer just use chemicals and call a problem solved, they must be properly trained on pest behavior and be able to select appropriate measures using many different control methods. This has resulted in a much more responsible and careful way of accomplishing pest control, and is the foundation of our approach.
